Zack is a proud alumnus of Phillips Exeter, Dartmouth College, and Harvard Law School, and brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to his work. He’s served as Executive Director of MetroLacrosse in Massachusetts, Assistant Head of School for Advancement at Gould Academy in Maine, and, for over a decade, as Head of School at The Hill School in Pennsylvania. In January 2023, Zack co-founded DovetailED, inspired by his passion for identifying talent and reshaping the recruiting landscape for independent schools. Zack and his wife Amy, a leadership coach, live in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where they enjoy life by the sea with their beloved dog Reuben. A devoted father of three adult children, all of whom attended independent schools, Zack has a deep understanding of the educational world both professionally and personally.

Lynda is a trailblazer in the marketing world, blending over two decades of experience with a rare combination of analytical expertise and creative flair. Known for her ability to identify and explore the untapped “blue zones” of the marketplace, Lynda consistently pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in the independent school industry. Lynda has navigated non-profit and for-profit sectors seamlessly, transforming organizations into national contenders through strategic rebranding efforts. Her visionary approach and commitment to excellence have earned her a reputation as a game-changer. Beyond the walls of DovetailED, Lynda can be found either in the outfield or the stands, cheering on one of her three college-aged boys.

Becca is DovetailED’s Senior Graphic Designer, and has been the creative force behind the brand’s evolution. She’s mastered the art of crafting visually compelling statements that make each job description stand out in a sea of others. With a passion for branding and typography, Becca continually explores new ways to elevate her designs. Constantly inspired by the world around her, she strives to create work that is both beautiful and functional. When she’s not behind the screen, you’ll find her exploring new destinations, indulging in her favorite meal–breakfast–or spending time with her beloved cat, Toast.

Trey is excited to help our clients hire smart, supportive, and engaged adults to work in independent schools. He comes from a family of teachers and coaches and brings over thirty years of independent school experience to his role as Recruiting Coordinator at DovetailED. His work journey has taken him to schools in New England, the Midwest, and Mid Atlantic where he learned to navigate the unique highways, traditions, and pronunciations of each region. Along the way he mentored, coached, and led in independent schools that changed students’ lives and helped improve their local communities. Trey loves a good adventure on bikes, skis, or running shoes and works with other athletes to help them improve their fitness and enjoy their pursuit of lofty goals. And now, he and his wife have landed in Portsmouth, NH where they are settling into an emptier nest and exploring the local trails, backroads, and restaurants.

Alison’s first-hand knowledge of the field of education, along with her extensive experience in recruitment, enables her to have a deep understanding of the needs of DovetailED partner schools and candidates. Before coming to recruitment, she completed a doctorate in Second Language Acquisition and Simultaneous Interpreting and spent 10 years as a Lecturer and Professor of Applied Linguistics and TESOL at leading universities in the British Isles and Japan. She has also taught Middle and High School English, French, Spanish and Italian for a number of years. In her spare time, she can be found chasing and photographing sunsets, escaping into nature and cooking up a storm for her family in Ireland.

Madison is a dedicated recruiter who is passionate about building meaningful relationships with our partner schools and candidates. With a diverse background in the recruiting industry, she excels in the matchmaking process, approaching her work with both focus and creativity. Outside of her professional life, Madison values quality time with her loved ones, especially her beloved dog, Max, and she will never pass up the opportunity to enjoy some live music. Residing in Lexington, Kentucky, she is also a proud supporter of the Kentucky Wildcats!

Ashlyn’s talent is not only focused on the candidate experience but also on exceeding the client’s expectations. With over five years of sourcing, recruiting, coaching, interviewing, and negotiations, her impeccable ability to hone in on client’s needs in order to find the perfect match is admirable. When Ashlyn is not utilizing her matchmaking skills for clients with candidates, she is enjoying the little things in life. She prides herself on being an active reader, art enthusiast, landscaper, and, most importantly, a game changer.

Victoria is a seasoned recruiter with a strong background in sourcing and placing high-caliber candidates across diverse industries, including manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, Department of Defense, and healthcare. Victoria's expertise in recruitment strategies and her ability to foster strong partnerships make her an asset to any team. Her warm and people-focused approach ensures a steady pipeline of qualified candidates, contributing to the success of DovetailED’s school partners. Outside of DovetailED, Victoria is probably spoiling her two rescue pups, Sky and Kiki, or diving into a new house project with her husband, Matt.

Elena joined DovetailED in 2024 as a graphic designer and has helped to produce our social media graphics and other projects to expand DovetailED’s brand. She has a love for branding, package design, and illustration. Elena is a puzzle nerd who also loves going to concerts, traveling, cooking, trying new recipes, and spending time with her family, friends and golden retriever pup, Charlotte.
