A former attorney and Academy Award-winning filmmaker, Zack Lehman has led independent schools and not-for-profit organizations for 25+ years. Over the last decade, Zack served as head of school at The Hill School, a highly regarded private boarding school in Pennsylvania.  During his time at Hill, Zack spearheaded institutional transformation across all fronts, elevating the school to national prominence.  One of his distinctive initiatives at Hill was a novel approach to faculty recruiting and hiring: targeting candidates who can fulfill the multi-faceted, critical responsibilities of each open position.  Instead of relying on costly placement agencies to share an oversized pool of teachers with limited co-curricular skills, or hiring coaches and program directors who were at a loss in the classroom, Zack developed a “dovetailed” sourcing model to discover candidates who could do it all and do it well.
